AMBASSADOR aka 'Bassy'

It is with heavy heart I bring the news that we lost our beloved Bassy Boy to the dreadful disease Equine Grass Sickness on Saturday 14th May 2011 , two days before his 3rd birthday :(

Bassy is our newest addition :)
We purchased him in January 2009 from Gestut Falkenhorst in Germany.
He is a rare Palomino Blanket spot registered Knabstupper by RFF The Alchemist (TB)out of Mona Lisa (Knab) born 16th May 2008
He has a very sweet temperament and should mature to approx 16.2hh and his registered name is 'Ambassador vom Falkenhorst'
Below are a couple of him in 2008 in Germany as a foal and the others are of 2009 and 2010.

We were very proud of Bassy at the Edenbridge and Oxted Show :-)...He came 2nd out of 16 in the Foreign Horse class!
What was even more fantastic was that he was the only baby in the class..all the other horses were mature!
He even placed higher than stallions entered.
It was an interesting class with Andalucians, Friesians, Selle Francais, Holstein, Fford, Morgan, Percheron, American Paint, Oldenburg, and Appaloosa.
